However, from the hills at the back of the property, beautiful views of this portion of the Lake add to the tranquility. Both goals have been met successfully. Good for spear-fishing, better for lunch! For sport fishing, you can drive to nearby Coquira, a fishing port on the Rio Bayano, the river running from the Lake to the Pacific, where you can fish for Silver King tarpon, snook, grouper, red snapper, corvina (a local favorite), and others. This is the only place on the Pacific coast where Silver King tarpon are found.
